Romantic Stuff/Stuff Good for a date to do in New Haven, CT?
This girl who’s way out of my league is willing to give me a shot… How should I handle this? How can I sweep her off her feet? Are there any really nice restaurants or things like that? Both of us are under 18, so please keep suggestions relevant!
*Money is not any issue–any tips are much appreciated… would waiting with a rose or anything like that be overboard?

I went to the Educated Burgour the other day, it’s near the Courtyard Marriott, and it was really good. Not that fancy of a restaurant, kind of where all the Yale students go to eat, but it’s right in the middle of downtown and their is a parking lot in between the streets where you can park and then stop in the shops and stuff and look around. The place is right around clothing stores and stuff like that.
It’s also right around the corner from Toad’s Place, which is always fun. The under 21 section is slowly getting smaller and smaller but they should have some good shows coming up. I don’t know what kind of music you like, but Dark Star Orgstra (Grateful Dead cover band) is playing their this week. I don’t know, check out their website, www.toadsplace.com, and see if their are any bands or type of music playing their you might like.
You could always go up to East Rock. That’s a pretty chill spot, over looks the whole city.
Or if she’s into museums and stuff like that, I know that right now there’s a really good photography exhibit at the Peabody Museum. They’re doing work on the outside of it so it’s got scaffolding all around it, but the inside is fine.
New Haven has a lot of stuff going on down their though, so I’m sure you could find some nice places to go. Good luck man.
